Our story began with the life-altering medical emergency that resulted in subsequent resection of necrotic muscle of my son’s lower extremities at the age of five. As a result, Marlon experienced foot drop and the need to wear AFOs plus the probability of an Achilles tendon transfer surgery. With a need to lengthen the tendon and an aversion to wearing AFOs during sleep, a new solution was born.

We want to help others by adapting an innovative orthotic that has had a positive impact on Marlon’s life – we think it can help so many more.
