Lab 915 Technologies Reaches Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6 for its Innovative Assistive Device

[FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, July 22, 2025] Vancouver, B.C. – Lab 915 Technologies Inc., a medical technology company advancing solutions for musculoskeletal health, is proud to announce that it has successfully reached Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6 – a significant milestone in its product development lifecycle. TRL 6 signifies that a fully functional prototype has been successfully tested in a simulated operational environment, demonstrating its potential for real-world application. This milestone is crucial for moving from research and development to a stage where the technology is closer to commercialization.

“This milestone is a major leap forward for our team and the communities we aim to serve,” says Jolanda Peters, Founder, Lab 915 Technologies Inc. “Reaching TRL 6 means we’ve not only proven that our technology works in theory, but that it performs reliably in environments where it will be used. This achievement moves us one step closer to delivering tangible impact to individuals who need it most.”

The novel assistive device is designed to speed recovery for individuals who suffer from plantar fasciitis and achilles tendinopathy, providing dynamic, responsive range of motion assistance while remaining lightweight, wearable, and easy to use. With TRL 6 achievement, Lab 915 Technologies Inc. can now initiate pilot scale evaluation and useability testing as well as engagement with strategic partners to accelerate its path to market.
